By accessing or using this website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Fortnight AI provides AI implementation and consulting services for UK businesses, including but not limited to:

• AI readiness audits and discovery sessions.
• Custom AI solution design and development (AI Sprints).
• Team training and documentation.
• Ongoing AI support and optimisation (retainer packages).

Full details of our service packages, deliverables, and timelines are discussed and agreed during the free AI Audit call before any commitment is made.

Our engagement process works as follows:

1. Free AI Audit call — a no-obligation 30-minute call to discuss your needs and assess whether AI can help your business.
2. Proposal and scope — if there is a good fit, we provide a written proposal outlining the scope, timeline, deliverables, and price.
3. Acceptance — the engagement begins once you confirm the proposal in writing (email is sufficient) and payment is received.

Bookings for the free AI Audit call are made through Calendly. By booking a call, you agree to provide accurate contact information.

All prices are discussed during the AI Audit call and confirmed in writing before any work begins. Prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT (we are below the VAT threshold as a sole trader).

Payment is made via invoice (bank transfer). Payment terms are specified in the proposal. Typically, full payment is required before the sprint begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a service contract within 14 days of entering into it, without giving a reason.

To cancel, contact us at jarek@fortnightai.com with a clear statement of your decision to cancel.

Important: If you request that work begins within the 14-day cooling-off period (for example, by agreeing to start the sprint immediately), you acknowledge that you may lose the right to cancel once the service has been fully performed. If you cancel after work has begun but before completion, you will be charged a proportionate amount for the work already carried out.

We stand behind our work with a clear guarantee:

• Discovery protection: If our Week 1 audit cannot identify an AI use case that saves your team at least 5 hours per week, you pay nothing.
• Working solution: You receive a fully functional AI solution on day 14, or you get a complete refund.
• Satisfaction: We iterate until you are happy. Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope.

Refunds under the guarantee are processed within 14 business days via bank transfer to the account used for the original payment.

Refunds are available in the following circumstances:

• Cancellation within the 14-day cooling-off period (see section 6).
• Under our money-back guarantee (see section 7).
• If we are unable to deliver the agreed services for any reason.

You agree not to:

• Use this website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of this website or its systems.
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce the content of this website without written permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Regarding AI Sprint deliverables: Once full payment is received, ownership of the custom AI solution, documentation, and SOPs created during your sprint transfers to you. We retain the right to reference the engagement (without disclosing confidential details) in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless you request otherwise in writing.

During the course of our engagement, both parties may share confidential information. We treat all client data, business processes, and proprietary information as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your confidential information to third parties without your written consent, except where required by law.

Where a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is required, we will provide and sign one before the sprint begins.

When delivering AI Sprint or retainer services, we use artificial intelligence tools to build and deploy solutions for your business. Here is how we protect your data:

• No AI training on your data — We use Claude API (Anthropic). Per their policy, client data sent via the API is not used to train AI models.
• UK GDPR compliant — A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is signed before every sprint. We process data under Article 28 as a data processor.
• ICO registered — Fortnight AI is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office.
• Encryption — All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
• No data storage after delivery — Working files are deleted within 30 days of project completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Sub-processors disclosed — Full transparency on which tools process your data: Anthropic (Claude API), n8n Cloud (workflow automation), Supabase (database, if applicable). A full list is provided before each engagement.

For regulated industries (accountancy, law), we follow sector-specific guidance and can provide additional compliance documentation on request.

Fortnight AI holds Professional Indemnity Insurance covering errors and omissions arising from our professional services. Details of our cover are available on request.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
• We provide our website and its content "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

This website may contain links to external websites (e.g., Calendly, LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of these third-party sites. Use them at your own discretion.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, internet or power outages, cyberattacks, or third-party service provider failures.

If a force majeure event continues for more than 30 days, either party may terminate the engagement by giving written notice. In such cases, you will receive a pro-rata refund for any undelivered services.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
